Managed IT is ongoing operations and support. IT consulting is strategic planning and decision-making. Often they work together: consulting defines the strategy, managed IT executes and maintains it. Many clients start with consulting to build their IT roadmap, then move to managed IT for implementation and ongoing support.
We do both. Our consulting engagement includes recommendations, but we also manage implementation either directly or through a vetted partner. If you want IT Works MSP to execute the roadmap, we can do that as a managed IT service. If you prefer another vendor, our roadmap is detailed enough to hand off.

You'll also have recommendations for ongoing management (managed IT, outsourced CTO, in-house team).
